1. Access and roles

The app works in any browser (laptop, station tablet, phone) at https://ppe-registry.amazon.dev. Sign in with your Amazon badge: click ๐Ÿชช Accedi con Midway (Sign in with Midway).

Not enabled yet? If your badge is valid but you have no access, the app shows you the Access request form directly: enter your station, the requested role and (optionally) the logins of other colleagues to enable. The request goes to your site admin, who receives an email and approves it from the Users page. Requests are only possible for stations already activated on the Registry.
RoleWhat they can do
Site OperatorDeliveries only: records the delivery with signature and can add a missing worker. Cannot see the registry, signatures, expiries, roster or configuration. Bound to a single station. Designed for shared station devices.
Site PoCDeliveries, registry, modules, expiries, roster (incl. CSV import) and export โ€” for their own stations only. Manages favorite PPE items.
Site AdminEverything the PoC does, plus: station configuration, Dashboard, delivery deletion, user management for their site (operators, PoCs and other site admins).
Country AdminEverything, on all stations, including nominating site admins and business-line admins.
Business Line AdminLike a Country Admin, but limited to the stations of their own business line (AMZL, ATS, AMXL or CF): activates stations, nominates site admins, sees the country dashboard filtered. Cannot create Country Admins.

The active station is selected at the top right (users with a single station only see theirs). Every station has separate data, roster and configuration.

2. Delivering PPE (โž• Consegna tab)

  1. Worker โ€” type the name or login in the search field and select the person. If they are not in the roster, click "โž• Not found โ€” register" and fill in the mini-form (login and name required): the person is registered and selected immediately.
  2. PPE items โ€” pick from the catalog. The dropdown filters by โญ Station favorites or by category. The star โ˜† next to each item adds/removes favorites (valid for the whole station). For each selected item enter quantity, size (where applicable) and an optional note.
  3. Signature โ€” hand the device to the worker, who signs with their finger in the box. Clear signature to retry.
  4. โœ“ Confirm delivery โ€” the delivery is recorded with date/time, operator and signature.
โš ๏ธ Anti-waste alert โ€” if the worker has already received the same PPE item and it is still within its lifetime, a warning appears with the date and size of the last issue. You can cancel or proceed with "Deliver anyway": in that case the delivery is flagged as an early re-issue in the registry (e.g. size change: legitimate; duplicate: to avoid).

3. Registry and modules (๐Ÿ“‹ Registro tab)

4. Expiries and alerts (โฐ Scadenze tab)

For each worker and PPE item, the system computes the expiry as last delivery + item lifetime (lifetimes configurable per station, see ยง6). The view shows expired items and those expiring within the configured window (default 30 days).

The system emails a summary digest to the configured recipients at the station's chosen hour โ€” only when there is something to report. A preview of the message is available in Config.

4b. Dashboard (๐Ÿ“Š tab โ€” site and country admins)

Aggregated station view with selectable period (30/90/365 days): deliveries and pieces, expired and expiring PPE, early re-issues with the wasted residual lifetime (the cases to watch), ranking of the most delivered items and the weekly delivery trend. The right place to understand consumption and waste before ordering.

5. Employee roster (๐Ÿ‘ฅ Anagrafica tab)

CSV import (recommended for the initial load)

CSV file with header: login, nome, badge, tipo, role (comma or semicolon separated). tipo: AMZN, TEMP or 3PTY. The import replaces the entire roster of the selected station.

Manual addition

The "+ Add manually" button, or the quick registration directly from the search during a delivery (ยง2). Manual addition can be disabled in Config.

6. Station configuration (โš™๏ธ Config tab)

SettingDescription
๐Ÿข Business lineAMZL, ATS, AMXL or CF โ€” set by admins at station activation; drives the scope of business-line admins.
๐Ÿ“ง Alert emailRecipients of the expiry digest (multiple addresses separated by commas).
๐Ÿ“… Alert windowHow many days in advance a PPE item is considered "expiring".
๐Ÿ”” Expiry digestOn/off, with a chosen hour and daily or weekly (Monday) frequency.
โ™ป๏ธ Early re-issuesNo notification, included in the digest, or an immediate email at every "Deliver anyway".
๐Ÿ“Š Weekly reportEvery Monday: the week's deliveries, top PPE items, waste and 30-day expiries.
๐Ÿ‘ฅ Worker added by operatorImmediate email when an operator registers a new worker during a delivery.
Access request emailImmediate notification to the station email when a colleague requests access.
Anti-waste alertEnables/disables the early re-issue warning.
Manual additionAllows or blocks manual worker registration.
โฑ PPE lifetimeLifetime in months of each PPE item for the station (starts from catalog values; Reset to return to standard). Drives expiries and anti-waste.
โญ FavoritesManaged with the stars in the delivery catalog (ยง2).
๐Ÿ“ง Email preview โ€” the "Generate preview" button shows exactly the message that will be sent, without sending anything.

7. User management (๐Ÿ”‘ Utenti tab โ€” admins only)

Pending access requests

Requests from colleagues (made with their badge, see ยง1) appear at the top of the page. Each request shows the verified identity of the requester and a โœ“ in roster badge if their login is present in the station's employee roster โ€” an objective check before approving. Approve creates the user instantly (badge login, no password to share); โœ• rejects. A site admin only sees and manages requests for their own stations.

Manual creation and search

  1. Fill in username (Amazon alias), name, role and station (e.g. DPU1, or multiple stations comma-separated).
  2. โž• Create / update user โ€” with Midway login no password needs to be shared: the alias is enough. The generated password is only a backup access method.
  3. ๐Ÿ”‘ reset regenerates the backup password (shown only once); โœ• removes the user.
  4. The search field above the list filters by user, name, station or role (e.g. DPU1, siteadmin).
A site admin can only create and manage operators, PoCs and site admins of their own stations. Country admins are nominated exclusively by country admins.

Onboarding a new station (country admin checklist)

  1. Create the site admin with the correct station โ€” this "activates" the station and enables self-service access requests.
  2. The site admin imports the roster CSV and sets up the Config (alert email, lifetimes, favorites).
  3. Colleagues request access with their badge; the site admin approves. The station is operational.

8. FAQ

Is the app available in English? Yes: the ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น/๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง button in the header switches the interface language and on-screen PPE names. The signed module, emails and exports stay in Italian (legal document).

Can I use the app from my phone? Yes, from any browser; the layout is mobile-optimized. An Amazon badge (Midway) is required.

Does the worker need an account? No. The worker signs on the operator's device; accounts are only for those who manage deliveries.

I recorded a delivery by mistake / wrong signature. Ask a Site Admin to delete the delivery from the Registry (โœ•) and repeat it.

Where are signatures stored? On Amazon AWS infrastructure in the EU (Frankfurt), encrypted, with an integrity hash for audit. No data leaves Amazon systems.

Category III PPE? Practical training (art. 37 c.5) is handled separately with a dedicated training record, as stated in the module declaration.

Issues or requests? File a ticket to CTI AMZL โ†’ WHS โ†’ PPE-Registry, or contact the country admin.
